Fine Arts

Involvement in Fine Arts is associated with gains in math, reading, cognitive ability, critical thinking, and verbal skill. Arts learning can also improve motivation, concentration, confidence, and teamwork.

An education that includes Fine Arts is critical to the formation of the whole person.  Not only does it support the academic program, but it engages both the mind and the soul of the student in a way that other disciplines cannot.  In addition, it helps to build fellowship amongst students and promotes school spirit on campus.

Stay Connected through Band Communication

GroupMe:

In addition to the student communications, there is a band parent GroupMe. This helps the parents to coordinate events, food before games, possible fundraisers, and things like senior gifts.  Please join this group so that you can stay in the loop with all the band parent information.  It has been really helpful the last few years, but we really need all the parents to join.

SportsYou:

SportsYou is for the students (and parents).  All students (or their parents if students do not have a phone) should download the SportsYou app if possible so that I can use it to communicate information with them.  The access code for the group is T9XY-S9L3. Please add yourself and/or your students to it.
